How to read this square
- The diamond at the top centre is always the 1st house — the lagna.
- From there the houses run anticlockwise: 1, 2, 3 and so on.

Each 30° sign is cut into 12 equal parts of 2.50° each, and each part is mapped to a sign by the rule for this varga. Your planet's exact degree decides which part it falls in — which is why the birth TIME matters: a few minutes moves a planet across a boundary and the whole D12 changes.
