Dhana Yogas — Wealth
Last updated
Dhana Yogas — Wealth — the lordship rule these yogas are formed by, and which house lords make them in your chart.
0The rule
A dhana yoga is formed between the lords of the earning houses — the 2nd, which is what is saved, and the 11th, which is what comes in — and the lords of the 1st, 5th or 9th.
What it actually decides
The 2nd and the 11th on their own only describe money passing through. It is the trikona lord joining them that decides whether any of it stays. The 12th lord in the same combination spends it; the 6th lord borrows it. Neither cancels the yoga — they say what happens to the money after it arrives.

If you want to act on this
A remedy in jyotish is an act, not a purchase — a fast, a mantra, a donation on the right weekday. Where a formal ritual is called for, these are the three that apply: a puja performed on your behalf, a chadhawa offered at the temple, or an abhimantrit article energised with the mantra of the planet involved.

Ask the astrologer — it reads your chart, not a general rule, and answers in plain words.
Common questions
- How is a dhana yoga formed?
- A dhana yoga is formed between the lords of the earning houses — the 2nd, which is what is saved, and the 11th, which is what comes in — and the lords of the 1st, 5th or 9th.
- Does having one guarantee the result?
- No. A yoga says the combination exists; whether it delivers depends on the strength of the two lords and on the dasha of one of them running. An unaspected yoga between two weak lords, in a period neither of them owns, is a line in a report and nothing more.
